The earth quake damaged all remote area schools in varying degrees from a little cracking to complete destruction. They already have a list of all schools damaged, which they can give to us and we can decide. On the average there are about 300 minimum students in each school district. Then there are some with 700 – 1,000 students. In the years prior to the quake, the schools were built according to 6 or 7 degree standards.
|
|
The cost is approximately 1,300RMB/m2. For a school of approximately 300 students, they will need about 1,500m2 of space. This includes classrooms, dormitory rooms, laboratory, dinning hall, showers, bathrooms and library, activity rooms and storage rooms. |
