You Can Participate
We need you to participate. This can never be the work of one individual or one organization alone. This must be a massive concerted effort, involving many people and other organizations with similar visions and compatible modes of operation. "Joints fitted together…"
There are many ways that you can participate. Your part may involve:
1. Donation of Funds:
a. administrative funds
- staff salaries
- office rent
- utilities
- vans up-keep and petrol
b. special project funds
c. costs for training staff
d. annual staff retreat funds
2. Coming to take part in projects personally short term or long term:
a. Medical professional: short term medical or dental clinics, surgeries, medical seminars
b. Welfare projects: working with handicapped, the elderly and the poor in special short-term or long term projects that would be especially announced
c. Administrative assistance: training of SHIC staff, Substitute for foreign staff who need to be on furlough or sabbatical
d. Technical assistance: computer networking, computer repair, typing and clerical work
e. Projects Cordinator: to coordinate logistics for incoming short-term and long-term teams, volunteers and individuals, details
3. Introducing other professionals who may work with us short or long term:
- Occupational therapists
- Physical therapists
- Speech therapists
- Nurses
- Doctors
- Child care workers
- IT professionals
- Administrative personnel
4. Do fund raising for us by introducing our work to those who are interested in supporting such work in China or in Asia.
