1. SHIC International Invitational Charity Golf Tournament

We have cancelled the tournament for this year and are transferring this planning to 2009

2. Children’s Cleft-Lip and Cleft Palate Surgeries

Due to the Si Chuan situation the local TV stations are not willing to divert the attention to our surgery project long enough to advertise for patients, i.e. letting the remote area families know of this opportunity to have the surgery for their child. We have guaranteed the surgery team that we will have 150 case (normally 50 of those are inoperable) so that we can actually do surgery for 100 children. Today our office staff prepared introductions to the project to send out to every Village Administrative Committee in Liaoning Province. It is an unanticipated challenge to the project. At the moment we have about 30 children registered. The surgery team from the USA is bringing 41 medical staff which includes 5 top surgeons and all of the ancillary positions.

3. Si Chuan Project

I have met with the heads of other similar organizations in our city. There is a possibility that we will all join in a conglomerate project in a village in Si Chuan, which may include building a school, a hospital, a community health station, a church and perhaps a factory.

4. Short-term staff

We need more M-staff to help cover the bases. The areas of need are basic admin and computer graphics and promotional work as well as website maintenance.

5. NK

We do want to establish the factory in NK. The preliminary situation is that we first need to set up a Foreign Trade Organization here in Shenyang. That will take an initial investment of about $27,000 USD.

6. ME

Plans for a trip to investigate potential partners in the Middle East for our medicinal soap distribution are in the making.
