MPHShenyang, China (May 22nd, 2006) TABLE OF CONTENTS 1. Foster Care 2. Wheelchairs 3. Surgeries 4. TDT and VDT 5. Proposal for Rehabilitation Center 6. Promotionals
Lily seems to be settling in well with Sherri, Paula and Heidi. She seems happy and is excited about her new bed which was just finished today. It is beautiful and very multifunctional.
I was told last week that our wheel chairs would probably be shipped on Tuesday of this week. We are looking forward with hope that the delivery of these wheelchairs to all of the orphanages will go smoothly and be a wonderful blessing to the children, a great encouragement to the orphanage staff and administration. We also hope that the procurement through the customs bureau will also go smooth. We are truly grateful for this shipment to be finally delivered. It is our desire that the company who has donated part of these chairs be blessed abundantly for their great assistance and commitment.
a. Li Shuang has nine more days until she gets her second cast off. She is excited to say the least. As you know our staff has already begun the follow-up trips to further train the village doctors. IT was very successful. Our staff administered an exam at the end of the day so now we need to grade them. We do need the test answers from the organization in Hong Kong. There was a bit of an unfortunate delay in getting those.
5. Proposal for Rehabilitation Center A provincial authority told me last week that he had been researching our proposal to him. He said it looks likely that they will approve this cooperation. Originally there was only one provincial partner required now there are two. However he said it looks positive.
Our promotional materials have been forthcoming and look good. We will be sending these materials to the US office soon.
Sincerely, Paula and Staff | ||||
