TABLE OF CONTENTS

1. Foster Care

As you know, we have been hoping that Dong Fan can be transferred to the XiNing Orphanage so that Becky can continue to either foster him or at least provide guidance for his foster situation. We also want to arrange for Lily to move in with Paula and Sherri. At this time we have been granted permission for both kids to be moved where we want them. The only stipulation is that our helpers sign as an legal agent of the foster care moms. I think this is fine.

2. Hospital

Since our junior Dr. Wang had to return to her former work unit, our Chief Dr. Wang has had to work longer hours. We really need to find another doctor to ease the workload for Dr. Wang. We are looking for someone who will stick with us and who loves the work.

3. Surgeries

The little girl who had surgery on April 6th, is doing fine. Her sutures will be removed today. She is beautiful. Her surgery was for spina bifida. We are still trying to get the little boy from Inner Mongolia to gain weight in preparation for surgery. He is up to 7.25kg now but the weight is coming on slower that we had hoped.
